Beta Buzz is a quarterly bio-technology magazine created by biotechnology company, Beta Bugs Ltd. The magazine focuses on the insect farming industry, featuring interviews, case studies, adverts and editorials from equipment suppliers, upcoming industry events, news, industry and educational perspectives.

The brief was to design and manage the quarterly magazine. Research was carried out to determine the design of the magazine, once the design was determined and agreed with the client, the template was then created. Work was carried out to determine the content plan for the magazines and once finalised, assets were pulled together from advertisers, graphics were designed, interviews were carried out along with the management of case studies and industry perspective collateral. The magazines also house recent industry news, industry events and frequently asked questions sections where research was carried out and all copy was written. The brief was also to determine corresponding imagery for the magazines where some of the photography was taken inhouse along with the arrangement and management of photoshoots with additional photographers who specialise in macro photography for maximum visual effect. Marketing campaigns were carried out post magazine launch to maximise reach.
